Design Patterns in Ruby, Preface & Ch 1-3

We'll be discussing the preface and first 3 chapters of Russ Olsen's Design Patterns in Ruby (http://designpatternsinruby.com/). We'll most likely be using Skype or Google Hangouts for people who can't get away from their desks, but might also meet up in person too (details TBD). For people who can't do either, there may also be some more discussion on our mailing list.

Also, Russ Olsen, the author of the book, found out that we're discussing his book from a tweet on Twitter, and has expressed an interest in joining in on the discussion and answering questions remotely. We're happy to have him join us.
