Nodebots! Javascript Robotics and the IoT

Sick of writing CRUD web apps? Build robots! with JavaScript! In this talk we will review the current state of JavaScript in robotics, wearables, and the Internet Of Things (IoT). There is a lot to go over, but we will focus on building a simple internet-enabled robot using an Intel Edison, Node.js, Johnny-Five, a handful of basic electrical components, and a cardboard box.
