From: Andy T.
Sent on: Saturday, May 16, 2009 5:19 PM

Hello Everyone:

Senses are the physiological methods of perception. They are all important to us, so why not indulge all five of them in one night? That is what we're presenting to you at our Feast for All Five Senses!

THE DATE: Friday, May 29th from 6-10pm.

THE LOCATION: Taj, 48 West 21st street, between 5th and 6th avenues.

SIGHT: 6-8pm

Feast your eyes as we proudly present a DVD gallery show featuring the work of Jorge Namerow.

Contemporary painter Jorge Namerow has emerged as one of the most
intriguing young artists working today. His work blends the classical
ideals of figurative painting with a unique style. Merging introspection
and visual spectacle, Jorge Namerow's personal investigations of the
figure, spirituality and abstraction possess the power to transform today?s ideals of elegance and sensuality.

Awards: Finalist, New York Art Festival 2009; 3rd place winner for "Longings", Annual Winter Competition.

SOUND: 9pm

Delight your ears as we present a special musical performance by Yukonaughtica, a five piece jazz band fronted by keyboard player Yuko Oz. This versatile and eclectic group mixes electronic funk jazz with international sounds. Come join us as funk meets jazz globally!

TASTE: 6-10pm

Throughout the evening your tastebuds are invited to savor the flavors of an assortment of South American wines sold at the discounted price of $7 a glass. Notes will be provided to describe each wine.

In addition, between 6:30 and 7:30pm, enjoy complimentary appetizers including Indian spiced vegetable simosa and curry flavored chicken satay.
