Reminder: Tomorrow's Event with Pizza, Wine, and Speaker
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 7:28 PM
One last reminder for you: tomorrow evening marks our September professional event. It's going to be spectacular.
Local Wisdom, a local web development shop, has moved into a new office and has generously offered to provide us with event space as well as pizza and soda.
Victory Selections, a New Jersey winery, will also be present to provide complimentary selections of their wine.
Ordinarily, that would be enough to hold a great event, but we've gone over the top and also lined up a presentation on the startup fundraising process.
Ken Kay, our speaker, has been a software entrepreneur since the 80s and an investor since the early 00s.
He's a veteran speaker, having given many presentations in the past, including a well-received talk at Princeton University about the mythic journey of the entrepreneur.
Some of his accomplishments:
* Former NJ Jumpstart Angel Investment Network chairman
* Founder of eBudgets, a dot-com era budgeting software company which sold to Microsoft.
* Co-founder of GlobalSubmit, a company that produces software to aid submissions and review during the FDA drug and medical device approval process.
* Founder of ichere.com, a location-based content publishing platform for mobile devices.
