Interesting that the Scrum Master is accountable for Sprint planning and Execution. I'd personally place that responsibility with the team.

Het was fantastisch om weer eens aan een meet-up deel te nemen. En weer fijn mede NLscrummer te ontmoeten. Laten we het gauw weer eens doen!

Based upon yesterdays open space session on agile self-assessments I've updated the list of checklists/tools: http://www.benlinders.com/tools...

Thanks for all the great additions!

    Thx Erik for sharing it!

There's also a blog that I wrote about how CMMI V1.3 supports Agile at http://www.benlinders.com/2010/..., and a CMMI Process Areas page which includes support for combining the CMMI with Agile http://www.benlinders.com/tools...

The presentation renewed my interest in CMMI. Well done. Here http://www.scrumalliance.org/co... I found a mapping of Scrum and CMMI level 2 practices. I enjoyed the Open Space discussions and of course the great food.

Expected something more about maturity models of a scrum/agile team, something like Scrum.org's AgilityPath (http://www.agility-path.com/). But interesting nonetheless and great to see that even with such an overhead in governance and process, it's still perfectly possible to do scrum and deliver more value than before :).

    Will this be in English?

Dutch people are courteous enough to switch to English at Open Space when a participant doesn't understand Dutch.

I am willing to take part but due to some changes in my schedule, I can't make one for tomorrow. Sorry.

Since it is a recurring question, can we mention the language in the Agenda for upcoming meetups?

    3 · January 23, 2014

    • Pieter R.

Good idea: indication for the language will be explicitly mentioned in upcoming meetups

      January 23, 2014

  • Dani B.

Hi, I will like to ask if the presentation will be in Dutch or English. i would love to attend but my Dutch is not proficient enough.

Does anyone know what language will be used for the presentation? Thanks, Dani

  • Lidwien V.

I wonder... I am interested in Scrum for communicatieprojects.. would this meetup be interesting for me?

    January 7, 2014

    • Astrid C.

Hi Lidwien, not sure it would be. I do know that Agile Holland will organize a Meet-up about Agile Marketing. This will be scheduled either May 13th or March 18th. If you join the Meetup group you will receive a notification once it is scheduled. http://www.meetup.com...

      January 8, 2014

    • Mary B.

Hoi Lidwien, er is een boekje van een communicatiespecialist Betteke Ruler, dat heet Reflectieve Communicatie met scrum, misschien heb je er wat aan. Bij Bol €14,95.

RSVPs are closed until 3 weeks before the meetup date. The reason is that in the past people RSVPed 'Yes' long before the meetup date and subsequently cancelled shortly before the meetup. By having the meetup open for RSVP 3 weeks before, I hope that the turn up percentage is higher.

    December 23, 2013

    • Serkan N.

Hi Pieter. I guess now we are within the 3 weeks RSVP period. I would like to RSVP if the plan is still to open it up. Thank you for your help.

      January 21, 2014

    • Pieter R.

Hi Serkan, it is open now. Thanks for going notice that it wasn't, regards, pieter

For those interested: I'm maintaining a web page with agile-self assessments tools and checklists at http://www.benlinders.com/tools... There are also several agile "maturity-models" on this list.

If you have an agile checklist that is not yet on the list, let me know and I will add it.

    December 23, 2013

  • Pieter R.

New date is set to February 6th.

    December 23, 2013

    • Paulus M.

For me, it is a worse date; now it overlaps with a standing appointment.

      December 23, 2013

  • Pieter R.

As it happens, the presentation of the results of the Dutch Agile Survey are on January 23rd! I will reschedule the meetup to another Thursday. Keep you posted on the new date.
    Sorry for the confusion.

    Depending on Date

    March 18, 2013

  • Remi-Armand C.

I can contribute a hands-on workshop on how we used the Rightshifting (Agile maturity) model to highlite common pittfalls and inspire improvement suggestions (from idea to income) at a large Dutch bank.

I will try to arrange a location and date in Nieuwegein.

    March 15, 2013

  • Mary B.

Would love to attend this meeting when/if real life examples -preferably from customer side / by customer- are presented and we can discuss this topic in "open space". :)
Then I will make an effort to join you all on any given date.

I'm not interested in THE next maturity model or earning model, be it scrum or otherwise.

    March 15, 2013

  • Ben L.

    Controversial topic, interesting!

    March 14, 2013

  • Mark van M.

    Depends on the date
