Node Game Night

Hi Everyone.

We have heard from a few people that members wanted more structured meetups. Which I totally get. Plus, people are saying they are interested in doing new and interesting things with node so I wanted to try something new.

Introducing our first learn and present meetup. This one will be centered around video games.

The idea is:

1. Get together a list of node or even just JavaScript game platforms.

2. Break up into small groups and independently spend about 45min - 1 hr learning the basics of the platform and perhaps even developing a game.

3. Then, each group takes 10 minutes and presents the platform back to the entire group.

4. Later, create the "next big game", make millions of dollars and retire on a white sandy beach.
