Nodebots Beginner Workshop

Hello Everyone!

I'm pleased to announce our next nodebots meetup!

This time we're doing a small workshop appropriate for anyone who's never tried nodebots before or would like some help getting going. Veterans are welcome of course and encouraged to come and help!

Our goals are to get you started and pointed in the right direction.

All you need is a laptop, some knowledge of javascript (beginner level is fine!) and yourself. If you have an arduino, please bring it. If you don't, Flatiron School has graciously provided a number of them for us to use!

We can also help setup other nodebot devices such as the sparkcore, beaglebone and raspberry pi. Make sure you bring your cables! (The raspberry pi will need a serial console cable, keyboard, and a hdmi cable.)

If you want to buy your own hardware, I recommend getting one of these starter kits.

If you order it soon you'll get it in time for the event!
