Music Jukebox Code Review+

Continuing on the success of last months Code Review Panel:

The jukebox can be run on a Raspberry Pi.

Freebie: We'll be giving away a free license for Balsamiq to one participant.

After the overview of the code we'll open it up to insightful comments and suggestions by the code review panelists and the crowd.

Following Leon will be a code review of code by Elad Elrom.  More details to come.

If you'd like to be a panelist orhave your code reviewed at a meeting, please contact Matt (, Aidan (, or Leon (

I really like the code review format, specifically the discussion around config vs env variables. Going forward it may be interesting for a review to focus of specific best practices (such implementation of the repository or command patterns).

Will there be slides or a diff posted somewhere? I couldn't make it because of work and I'd really love to see what was done.

I like the idea of having code reviews. It is a good opportunity to learn from others. I missed some of the feedback and suggestions because I could not hear them well. Perhaps a mic or two would improve that situation.
