Continuing on the success of last months Code Review Panel:

We'll start the evening with an moderately detailed overview of a new open source project, a Music Jukebox by one of the nodeJS organizers, Leon Stankowski. The app's interface was designed using Balsamiq. The implementation relies on:

Express 3 ( http://expressjs.com/ ) Socket.io ( http://socket.io/ ) Google's Angular ( http://angularjs.org/ ) MediaInfo ( http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en ) and mediainfo( https://npmjs.org/package/mediainfo ) MPlayer ( http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html ) and simple-mplayer ( https://npmjs.org/package/simple-mplayer ) redis ( http://redis.io/ ) and redis ( https://npmjs.org/package/redis ) The jukebox can be run on a Raspberry Pi.

Freebie: We'll be giving away a free license for Balsamiq to one participant.

After the overview of the code we'll open it up to insightful comments and suggestions by the code review panelists and the crowd.

Following Leon will be a code review of code by Elad Elrom. More details to come.
