Workshop: Harnessing the Power of Collaborative Design and Innovation

Collaboration is the paradigm changing factor for innovative business today. Successful and effective collaboration and team innovation is a skill and an art that is essential in today's business climate.

Who is this workshop for? Anyone who wants to learn how to effectively work in teams and collaborations in a value-creating, people-growing way, both for oneself and for the group.

This event is hosted by DVWM meetup. To RSVP and purchase tickets go to Eventbrite:

Come join us for a rare and wonderful opportunity: a half day workshop in collaborative design and team innovation with well-known systems thinker and corporate trainer, Joe Laur of Seed Systems.

Most of us who have been part of a group creation process know the amazing potential of working in teams. We have also experienced some of the challenges. In every collaboration one or two unexpected challenges arise around communication and how to bring it to a fruitful positive outcome. This is a workshop focused on teaching this important skill set.

Joe, one of the valley's hidden gems, has worked with many major companies, helping them to transition to a sustainable business paradigm. Joe has offered transformational team and innovation skills capacity building training for such well known companies as Nike, Shell, Ford, Interface, and World Bank. He worked with Ray Anderson, CEO of Interface (the largest carpet manufacturer in the world) as he worked to transition Interface to its goal to have zero ecological footprint by 2020. This is truly a rare opportunity not to be missed.

Our Focus:
• Grow your capacity in systems thinking, collaborative communication, and team innovation.

• Learn to balance the cycle of individual learning (personal mastery) and team learning (cross pollination, cross communication).

• Learn to preserve, even enhance relationships in challenging conversations.

•Introduction to Design Thinking
• Human happiness as core design principle

We hope to see you there :)
