Hi folks-
Thought I'd share the poem that went out in my newsletter.

Thank you all for a great year of meetups and for the good work you do.
I look forward to continuing to meet new members and reconnect with "old" members in the New Year!

Peace to you all,

Holiday Greetings
SoulWorks Coaching?

As I write this a blizzard is creating a world of white
outside my warm, toasty home.
How like love ? a sweeping storm
exploding through one?s heart
into the world,
leaving life unrecognize-able in its stormy passing

I sit aware of the snow-blowing men
carving out paths for the neighbors;
my heart hoping?.hoping
they will consider me
a neighbor, too
as I clear my own path into winter?s white

Oh, holidays, holy days of fall turning to winter,
light dimming and growing strong again,
in anticipation of winter?s rest, hibernation,
turning into spring with life
exploding once again.

The four season Tao of the northeast,
hardy souls, piling into bloomers, warmers, mittens,
multiple layers
shuffling through pounds of
mashed potato white snow drifts drifting over
cars, trucks, curbstones, gardens,
cats and dogs
finding their way beyond the piles
to piddle and poop,
shaking legs one by one as if to rid themselves of the wet.

Alas, there is no ridding the day of this white.

Snow, blowing, cold,
wet, flakes in my face?.
I sit inside
warm thoughts
of you

Happy Holidays...
~ Monique
