Let?s take advantage of snow and do some snowshoeing before it is melted. March is the best month for snowshoeing. We will do lots of hiking when the trail conditions are more amicable for hiking. :) The view is spectacular on the trail and from Dam Mountain.

Please check the Outdoor Club site in the evening before the hike for any possible reschedule or cancellation. The event will be cancelled if the weather condition is poor . If it will be pouring rain, we could all go to Rogers Play Dome for Canada's largest indoor carnival. :)

What to bring:
snowshoes, poles (optional), water, layered clothing (windproof jacket and pants), good boots, toque and gloves, gators (optional), change of clothes, water.

Round trip: 5 km
Time: 3 Hours
Elevation: 300 m
Rating: Moderate
Pace: Slow to Moderate (depending on your ability)
Bring: Water, good hiking boots, snowshoes and camera
Meeting time: 10:00 am

Meeting place:
Top of Grouse Mt. in the chalet by the fireplace (in the main lobby). You need to take the gondola to get there.
Plans after snowshoeing: snacks/lunch and hot chocolate at the chalet. If you would like, bring your own food.

For more information please refer to this meetup group's home page.

And remember, do not RSVP here.
