Details

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/8/4/e/event_230666702.jpegWe're going to photograph the riot of spring colors at The Garden In The Woods in Framingham. Although it's a bit far afield from our usual walks in Essex County, I know you'll love the Garden. With 40 acres of winding dirt trails through flower beds representing many geographic and climatic zones in the US, this unique location is a place to learn about wildflowers and test your photographic skills.

Admission fees: $10 Adults (18-64); $7 Seniors (65+);

I'll be offering ad-hoc instruction and tips on:

Available light Shooting with speedlights Use of light modifiers Mastering depth of field Color temperature Use of extension tubes To bring:

A smallish tripod ( we can't put tripod legs in the path of the garden beds) Your camera of choice with manual controls A shoe-mount flash and extension cable if you have one Macro lens Extension tubes Bag lunch Steady rain will cancel

After the workshop we'll post our work on this site and Google + for friendly feedback.
