Winter Woods Photo Walk

Photograph the winter woods at Breakheart Reservation, Wakefield, MA. Join a small group of outdoor photographers and walk the snowy roads and trails of this beautiful 600 acre reservation. You'll find a varied landscape of hemlock and pine woods, 2 large lakes, rocky outcrops, ice formations, and deep snow.

Instruction will be offered in exposing for snow, composition, color compensation, and outdoor photography in general. Come prepared with a camera that has manual controls, warm insulated boots, a pair of thin liner gloves for holding your camera, and layered clothing. A tripod is optional, as are snowshoes.

Rain, extreme cold, or heavy snow may cancel the walk.
