Vietnamese Language Exchange & Holiday Lunch!

Let's get together and practice / learn Vietnamese over some yummy food and drinks! We'll go to "Spice X-ing Restaurant" in Rockville (located in a big shopping center, with a huge parking garage) for some delicious Indian food. The owner and head-chef, my good friend, Sudhir Seth, has offered to make some Vietnamese food to add to the buffet that is served there.

Liz will be making a list of Vietnamese language basics and distributing it to those who are new to the Vietnamese language, or need to practice the basics. Please indicate in your RSVP if you'd like a copy!

PLEASE BRING at least $18 cash! This includes the buffet, tax, tip, and handout (if you need the handout). This does not include drinks and it's hard to do separate checks. Thanks!!!

We're limiting this to 20 people, as this will make for a comfortable gathering!

Anyone want to get together on a regular basis ... say, at a coffee shop or over some good Vietnamese food ;) ... to practice speaking their Vietnamese? I'm hoping to "wow" Mom once of these days and pick up Vietnamese again.
