This will be our second year going to the Eden Center Tet Celebration! Pictures from last year's event are here: http://www.meetup.com/novadcviet/events/15797158/
This year I was thinking we could eat lunch at Huong Viet or Viet Royale, then head over for the festivities. Both of these restaurants are large, have good reviews, and should be able to handle a large group. However, if they are too crowded of if the group has a strong preference for somewhere else, there are plenty of other good choices.
To keep things simple, I will meet everyone next to the flag poles in the center of the parking lot, unless the weather is too cold/rainy. In that case, I will meet everyone inside the mall area right across from Viet Bistro (that is, the indoor mall area right outside the entrance to Hai Duong Restaurant, where we've eaten before).
If you arrive after 12:30, no problem just give me a call/text and I will tell you where we are.
There will be special appearances by a 5 foot tall cat, a fortune teller, balloon sculptors, magicians, martial arts, and TWO Lion and Dragon Dance troupes! This is a free event, open to the public.
Let's get up there and have some lunch at 12:30pm, and then we can walk around and enjoy things until 3pm, when the Dragon and Lion dance begins!
