Supercars on State Street

Hey everyone, well if you didn't make it up to the Supercars on State Street last year (I almost didn't....) then you missed out. It's another long drive, but definitely a fun one. Lasy year we met up at the Tyson's Corner Starbucks right after katies, then joined up with a group in MD.

Hello again everyone!
Only 4 weeks until showtime!!! As we count down the days until Supercars again take over the street of downtown Harrisburg, we ask that if you have not already registered, to please do so by August 1st. The list of attendees is growing rapidly and we wish to accommodate everyone accordingly. Advanced registration not only ensures entry into the event but helps us to create an event that is both organized and unique. We hope to fill State Street this year (130+ vehicles) and them some, and as it stands we are on track to do just that. All the same we are looking to get as many Luxury & Exotic automobiles to turnout, all in support of the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! Some updates worth noting: The event will be aired on The CW and WFMZ as its own show. Vintage TV will be broadcasting the event in its entirety, featuring driver interviews, feature vehicles and awards. Like last year, the CBS 21 News team will be on site filming a segment to be aired along with our celebrity choice awards. (This being said, there is a very good chance that your car, if not everyones car may make it on TV!) McLaren of Philadelphia and Porsche of the Main Line have confirmed they will be bringing out display vehicles, in addition to a local enthusiasts own Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo Superlagerra LP1000-4. The Miss Pennsylvania International Pageant winners will be helping out taking pictures and selling raffle tickets throughout the day. We will have a handful of photographers/videographers covering the event, along with a DJ and food vendors on site. 100+ raffle and silent auction items will be on display to be won, with the proceeds to be donated as well. Items range from a few dollars to well over $500. You can enter to win a ride in any of the following: Lamborghini Gallardo SE, Lotus Evora, Lotus Exige S or Corvette Z06. (others may be added!) The parade will again take place from Harrisburg's City Island to that of where the cars will be parked along State Street. Makes for a nice cruise down 2nd Street (Restaurant Row). Every award will be completely handmade from actual engine internals. Winners will be receiving not just an award but a piece of art!
