Max Tagher - Hacking the Objective-C Runtime
Details
Max Tagher (https://github.com/MaxGabriel/) is an iOS Engineer at Heyzap, where he works on an ad network mediation SDK used by major games like 2048 and Crossy Road. Max has contributed to open source iOS projects like Subliminal (https://github.com/Inkling/Subliminal) and Haskell projects like Yesod (http://www.yesodweb.com/).
This talk will cover interacting with other Objective-C code without referencing it at compile-time. I'll cover basics like NSClassFromString and performSelector:, intermediate topics like NSProxy and forwardingTargetForSelector:, and truly obscure functions like CFBundleGetDataPointerForName. This talk is for beginner developers interested in learning about Objective-C runtime features, as well as experienced developers interested in practical usage of them.

Every month, we meet for some tech talks and free beer. An iOS developer will present their talk and then we'll have an hour for networking and drinks. Topics will stay specific to iOS. Open-source projects are highly encouraged, no product placement in talks. We cannot hold the door open for everyone once the talk has started. You must be RSVP'd to attend the event.
