Really enjoyed an opportunity to 'do' Drupal - for me reading up on Omega theme documentation and checking this out on a Drupal 7 install. I wish I could contribute more and will definitely try to attend again.
    Cheers all.

Hi, I can't code professionally but I can read code.. if that makes sense? I am very good at proof reading and ok at editing if someone has a file/document to be searched and revised, perhaps with some additional edits Twig stuff? I'd be happy to look at documentation and look over someone's shoulder. Look f/w to the 26th.

great event!. I've been part of sprint organising team in India. Adding few ideas from my experience:

    1. We can either use a excelsheet (if more than 15 people) or drupalcorementor.org for tasks.

    2. First 30 minutes we can spend on setting up git and tool like dreditor (can be added as part of schedule above) for the new contributors.

    3. First half of the day, all *work* on issues like issuing patches, re-rolling them, writing test cases, etc... and second half review each others patch, add review comments and make sure the person fix it and then re-review it. Make sure before we leave, all the issues that we worked are RTBCed or ready for someone with more knowledge to RTBC (We can leave an IRC message to the person to review).

This makes me really happy! Has anyone posted an event on groups.drupal.org? If we do, that will add a sprint to drupical and help with promotion.

This sounds great... but the 26th October is my birthday! I hope this is successful though, I've been on Drupal mentoring but it's not really enough to understand how to contribute more.

    Hope it goes well.

I'll be hopefully sunning myself on holiday somewhere as it's school half term and i've not been on holiday yet this year.
