September 2014 NY Enterprise Technology Meetup

Join fellow technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors for the NY Enterprise Technology Meetup's (NYETM) September meetup on Wednesday 9/17/14 from 6:45pm-9:00pm!

For our September meetup we have some exciting companies demoing their technologies, including:

vArmour - vArmour provides security for the data defined perimeter in a new world of mobile applications, virtualization, and cloud computing. We help enterprises protect their greatest asset: their data, from advanced cyber threats and security breaches, dynamically and securely by giving them instant visibility and control of their East/West Traffc flows. vArmour is based in
Mountain View, California, and is led by executives from
NetScreen, Juniper Networks, Silver Tail Systems, Citrix,
Riverbed and IBM.

Tamr -  Tamr provides a data connection platform that dramatically reduces the time and effort of connecting and enriching multiple data sources to achieve a unified view of silo-ed enterprise data. Using Tamr, organizations are able to complete data unification projects in days or weeks versus months or quarters.  Tamr was founded by Andy Palmer and Michael Stonebraker, PhD.

Mesosphere - Mesosphere offers a layer of software that organizes your machines, VMs, and cloud instances and lets applications draw from a single pool of intelligently- and dynamically-allocated resources, increasing efficiency and reducing operational complexity.  Mesosphere is an evolution of virtualization. Rather than provision and manage virtual machines, Mesosphere's data center operating system makes executing and managing applications in a data center just like launching applications on a laptop by running them on Apache Mesos.

SocialRank - SocialRank is the easiest way to identify, organize, and manage your followers on Twitter. Businesses and Nonprofits use SocialRank as a central location to find the people that follow them. SocialRank is based in NYC and have over 5,000 brands using them since launching in February 2014.
