December NY Enterprise Technology Meetup (ft keynote by Fred Wilson)

Details
Join fellow technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors for the NY Enterprise Technology Meetup's (NYETM) December meetup on Tuesday 12/18/12 from 6:45pm-9:00pm!
The format of the event this month will feature a keynote by Fred Wilson as well as 3 enterprise tech demos. There will be networking before/after.
Special Keynote by Fred Wilson, Managing Partner at Union Square Ventures Fred recently wrote a post on his popular blog avc.com (http://www.avc.com) titled “Network Effects and the Enterprise (http://bit.ly/V5RjPb)” where he pointed out that “if you go back over the past four years and analyze the roughly thirty investments we have made in that time period, you will see that a good portion, maybe a third, have been in networks where enterprises participate.” This is in line with his firm’s thesis to invest in “large networks of engaged users, differentiated through user experience, and defensible through network effects.”
In this keynote, Fred will expand on this blog post, explain trends he is seeing, and discuss where opportunities may exist for entrepreneurs. Fred and USV have played such a critical role in the growth of NYC’s tech ecosystem that we’re very much looking forward to hearing his thoughts on what’s in store for enterprise tech.
