Briefly introduce yourself - What do you do, and what do you hope to get out of the NYETM?

I am a senior statistical analyst at a 3-person management consulting firm and the head of business development seeking new opportunities in China. I love investing and I believe enterprise technology is at the heart of many new start-ups, not only in the western world, but more importantly in the emerging world. As a fixed income analyst focused on retail and consumer goods, I analyzed a number of brick and mortars, some who adapted enterprise technology and others who didn't. A midst an environment of slow value creation, I quickly recognized the importance for large retailers to implement enterprise technology to increase margin and effectively address the new consumer, generation y, in a virtual platform. I hope NYETM will put me in front of the entrepreneurs, firms, and ideas that are at the forefront of investing and developing enterprise technology and hopefully I will be fortunate enough to partner with a few of them moving forward.

How did you hear about the NY Enterprise Tech Meetup? If you heard about it from someone, who?

I was doing some research on new ideas and firms within enterprise technology and it's respective community and I happen to come across this page. Drew Nagda, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Lean Startups also mentioned Work Bench was one of the foremost active firms investing in enterprise technology.

A New York native, I majored in Economics at Amherst College and studied Mandarin in Beijing. I worked as a Credit Trading Desk Analyst at UBS and have since transitioned to consulting. I've worked in New York City, Hong Kong and Switzerland.
