WHAT/WHY

 The idea behind NY GRE Learners is to empower learning process by meeting in person and collaborating with those who are preparing for GRE at the moment. Also: to make friends, have fun.

HOW

During meetings we:

  • share thoughts & opinions about study materials (you may bring and show your favorite one)
  • share experience of taking exam(s) in the past
  • share most complex problems found in tests, books, etc. (if needed - trying to understand & solve them together)
  • get to know each other, discuss why do we take the exam, universities we want to apply to, career goals, etc.

WHERE/WHEN

Anywhere in NYC (usually downtown Manhattan or Brooklyn Heights). Usually meetings are not long, one can arrive and leave at any time. We meet in different places: the only thing we need is ability to sit together. Minimum people for meetup to happen: two (it is not that bad if you happen to be the only one who came to the meeting - you can study while waiting for others to arrive).

WHO

Anyone who prepares for GRE at the moment. International participants are welcome! It is always interesting to talk about different places in the world, hear different stories about coming to NY.
