Introduction to F# with Nikhil Barthwal

Introduction to F#, It covers topics like Bindings, Functions, Data structures like Tuples, Records, List and Sequences, High order functions, Pipelining, Partial application, Composition, discriminated unions and pattern matching over them, and Object-oriented programming. The talk does not assume any familiarity with F# or functional programming in particular. Basic familiarity with any standard programming language should be sufficient.

Nikhil Barthwal is Senior Engineer at Jet.com where he uses F# to design tools of test automation. In prior roles, he as worked in Oracle and Microsoft. He holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineer and Master’s in Computer Engineering with special focus on Distributed Systems.
