Description:

Many companies think they're "doing Agile" once their developers start working in sprints. But if all of the phases of the work are completed in big batches, companies don't get to take advantage of all of the benefits.

Learn how a Cisco internal startup used minimally marketable features to streamline the flow of work from end-to-end and to the customer in Robert Frohman's talk, "Starving the Engine: How to Fuel a High-Performing Agile Organization".

Presenter: Robert Frohman is project manager, agile coach, and developer on Project Lockhart, a Cisco internal startup. He has over 20 years of experience as a software developer, engineering leader, and agile consultant, focusing most recently on agile transformations. Rob holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Rob can also be found hiking and skiing in the mountains of New Hampshire and Colorado.

Location: Spotify is on 45 W. 18th Street. That's between 6th and 5th avenues, above the Bed Bath and Beyond. They're up on the 7th floor.
