Super Special Flatiron Presents with Lucas Mazza of Plataformatec

Details
We have a super special meetup tomorrow with a guest, Lucas Mazza of Plataformatec (devise anyone?).
The schedule will be:
7 - 7:30: 3 Flatiron Students will present some small projects they've been working on, a Best Restaurant aggregator that is powered by NY Mag and Yelp. And then a Ruby Sudoku solver.
7:30 - 8:00: Lucas Mazza
The Plataformatec way: TEAMWORK
Scale a development team ain't an easy task, and it should be done by the team members themselves. I want to talk about how our team has grown over the last years and what we are doing to keep the company as the best workplace we can get, and how our routine exceeds the working hours and affect our lives.
From our development workflow to the tools we use everyday, we are constantly revisiting our practices and adjusting them as we need, bringing new ideas and concepts to ensure that our team stays fresh and able to deliver great projects to our clients.
Lucas Mazza (@lucasmazza) is a ruby and front-end developer from São Paulo, Brazil, and member of the Plataformatec team, the company behind projects like Devise (authentication solution for Rails apps), SimpleForm (your favorite form build), Elixir (a programming language on top of the Erlang VM) and other tools for the Rails community.
Looking forward to having everyone!
PS - We are only charging $1 to ensure that RSVPs are somewhat meaningful. All proceeds will be donated to an open source project or Wikipedia. Feel free to just show up too.
