Ninefold: Built for Rails

Details

We'll be having Andrew Sharpe of NineFold (http://ninefold.com) explain what they mean when they say "Built for Rails"

When Ninefold engaged with the Rails community we heard that Ease and Enjoyment were paramount. You want to build it and ship it. Issues like performance and scaling could be left until later and/or just through more resources at the problem. The result of this was an ecosystem built to meet these needs. Easy to deploy, worry about performance later.

Where does end user experience fit into this?

We at Ninefold want to change the paradigm. That is, we provide the ease of use (in fact, easier than some of our competitors), we don’t abstract away your hardware, and we provide you the type of performance you can expect from our largest competitors from day one.

What does this mean?

Better end user experience for all users without any additional cost or hassle.

This meetup has been rescheduled to Thursday, Jan 23rd,, it was suppose to happen on Tuesday, Jan 21st, but it snowed, polar vortex and all.
