For this special edition of NYC On Rails, José Valim will be presenting his own programming language, Elixir (http://elixir-lang.org/). Elixir is a meta-programming language that is built on top of the Erlang VM. It focuses it on using Erlang’s abilities to build concurrent, distributed and fault-tolerant applications with code upgrades.

This Meetup is kindly being sponsored by CHALLENGEPOST (http://challengepost.com/)! Pizza and beer will be served.

PLEASE INCLUDE FIRST AND LAST NAME IN RSVP TO ALL NYC ON RAILS EVENTS.
