What we’re about
Animal Activist & Social Events (The Humane League NYC) is here to provide you with upcoming social and volunteer opportunities hosted by The Humane League and other groups in New York City.
The Humane League is a farm animal protection nonprofit. We work to inspire change for animals at all levels through both our grassroots outreach initiatives and our wildly successful corporate campaigns. We now have a grassroots office here in NYC, so you can expect events from us often!
There are so many ways to advocate for animals, no matter your skill set! Possible volunteer opportunities include: leafleting, tabling, protesting, assisting with humane education presentations in classrooms, and more. Possible social opportunities include: Vegan Drinks, bar crawls, group runs, etc.
We look forward to seeing you all out there and continuing to build this already awesome community! Feel free to reach out to us if there's an event you'd like to see us host or if there's something going on you'd like us to cover.

### 🚫 EMPTY PROMISES WON’T EMPTY CAGES 🚫
❗❗❗ RSVP HERE! ❗❗❗
🍔 For many major restaurant brands like P.F. Chang's, 2024 marks the final year before their commitments to source exclusively cage-free eggs arrives.
❗ Most of them had 10 years to fulfill these public pledges. (All company deadlines were self-imposed.) And some of them have yet to even make a commitment. In the next nine months, these popular restaurants will prove whether or not they honored the promises they made to their customers, or will step up to the cage-free plate.
⌛ Because they’re running out of time. And with cage-free eggs gradually becoming the norm for producers and consumers—and in state and international laws—they’re running out of eggscuses.
⛲ Join us for an evening in the park as we socialize and make phone calls to target companies revealed in The Humane League's recent Eggsposé report! If you're not comfortable making phone calls yet, you can observe others and there will be plenty of other digital actions available as well as opportunities to write postcards!
For context, read this eye-opening report, and come be a part of our goal to hold these companies accountable and help end cages for over 100 million hens this year!🐔🐮🐷
By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy and the event terms & conditions. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community! The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the world’s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates. thehumaneleague.org
