Hello Everybody, WELCOME, We are a dance organization established to promote and perform the Bhangra in New York City. We educate communities about Indian culture with our free Bhangra performances in schools, government & business organization, festivals etc. Our members are of all ages, races, nationalities and professions. BHANGRA DANCE: Originally a festive dance to celebrate the arrival of spring, in Punjab, India, Bhangra today is a global cultural phenomenon. Often called the 'Dance of Ecstasy', the Bhangra possesses a level of energy, vitality and vigor that is hard to describe, but is incredibly addictive. With fun, simple-to-learn moves that offer the freedom to experiment, the Bhangra is a great way of getting in shape, keeping fit and also drawing some serious attention when you go dancing next! Come join us to get in shape at one of our fitness classes, learn a choreographed dance at our performance based classes with the opportunity to perform with us on stage, meet new friends, party with us at our upcoming events and parties, and most importantly have lots of fun!
