Synopsis:
Join us for an informative discussion about the technical and business implications of application performance in the Cloud. How do we balance increasingly complex cloud architectures with the need to deliver optimal experience to the application user? How does my application perform vs. how does the cloud impact the performance? Performance measurement in the cloud cannot be based on the usual utilization metrics, nor can we easily replicate performance issues that happen in the cloud.

About Francis Cordon (dynaTrace Regional Director - NY Region):
Francis Cordon is a Subject Matter Expert on Application Performance Management and End-user experience monitoring. He has assisted many large customers overcome global application performance and response time problems in and out of the cloud space. He has worked in IT for 15 years, consulting to large enterprises with complex n-tiered environments. Francis has had many roles, including Product Strategist, Post-Sales Consultant and Technical Account Manager with strong emphasis on .NET/JAVA application architecture and performance analysis. Francis currently works for dynaTrace (http://www.dynatrace.com), a global leader in "End to End" , continuous application performance management.
About Michael Kopp:
Michael Kopp has 10 years of experience as an architect and developer in the Java/JEE space. He currently works as a technology strategist and evangelist in the dynaTrace center of excellence. In this role he is specializing on architecture and performance of large scale production deployments. As part of the R&D team, he influences the dynaTrace (http://www.dynatrace.com) product strategy and works closely with key customers in implementing performance management solution for the entire lifecylce. Before joining dynaTrace he has been the Chief Architect at GoldenSource, a major player in the EDM space. In this role, one special focus was the performance and scalability of their enterprise offerings.
