Hometown: Bronx, NY

I am interested in riverbank recovery, alternative building practices, honeybee rescue, learning to identify wild herbs and mushrooms, and nature-based spirituality.
The deliberate and incidental harm caused by the US military, to corals, the oceans, the soil, the air, human beings, and the earth's climate.
Growing up in the city, I learned to respect the natural world because it was available to me in small doses, on special occasions. I found healing in contemplating the ocean, trees, squirrels, birds, butterflies, and flowers.
I am a "Green" New Yorker, currently living in the Bronx, trying to learn more about the informal network of urban farmers, gardeners, permaculturists, and foragers, to restore health to the living planet as I become more healthy myself.
Very engaged citizens, all presented logical and practical questions and solutions.
