NYC Digital Roadmap Listening Sessions – Bronx

NYC Digital invites New Yorkers to a series of participatory discussions on initiatives to help realize New York City’s potential as the world’s leading digital city.

The meetups will begin with a presentation on New York City’s Digital Roadmap, followed by group breakout sessions, and will conclude with a group wrap-up.

Topics will include: Internet access for New Yorkers, STEM education, open data and innovation, online public engagement, and developing the local tech and digital industries.  We invite you to constructively share your insights and ideas on ways to sustain New York City’s digital momentum.

Sorry I missed it. Hopefully Joly got to record the session after all.

Glad to be part of the listening session in the Bronx. I attended as part of the Bronx Entrepreneurs and Business Network. Affordable spacing, community outreach, and more educational/training opportunities for entrepreneurs and students are among the issues discussed in the industry group I took part in. Diversity is also key.

I have been told there is no room for me, so there will be no webcast/recording on this one.

Joly, as much as I want to attend I have a pressing issue so consider my spot yours under the condition it's webcast/recorded. Deal?

Joly - I want you to come and I hope you're able to make it. The space for the general presentation is a bit tight (you'll see it once you get there), so I just wanted to make sure every person that comes can sit or stand comfortably, that's all! Apologies if it came across differently.

Is there parking at the Banknote building or is public transportation the best way there?

6 to Longwood or Express 6 to Hunts Point both good options. 2 or 5 Simpson St is about 10-15 minute walk. Evening parking in front of Banknote bldg is pretty easy too.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
