Welcome, New York Makeup Artists!

The purpose of the New York City Makeup Artist Meetup Group is to create a community for makeup artists in New York City. Join us as we meet up for exclusive and collaborative events once a month, where members can network, share experiences and advice on advancing their careers in the beauty industry!

Established in 2006, the NYC Makeup Artists Meetup Group was formed to unify makeup artists and other beauty professionals of all different levels. We all have something to "give and take" from this community. No matter what your experience level, we all share the same passion - making other people look beautiful with simple touches of makeup!

Since 2007, Genevieve Santos, founder of Gorgeous on the Go and fellow freelance makeup artist (MUA), has been organizing this group, along with a dedicated group of members who serve as Assistant Organizers. Chic Studios NYC, School of Makeup Artistry has joined our team as an Assistant Organizer & Exclusive Sponsor for this awesome group!

A few things we've done & have planned in the works:

* Social meetups for members to mix and mingle
