Developing for Google Glass

By now you've almost certainly heard about Google Glass, so now come learn all about how you can develop apps for it! In this session we'll walk through the basics of Google Glass, the APIs it provides, and how you can use them to develop your own apps for it using both Java and C#/Xamarin.

Jon Gottfried is a co-founder at Major League Hacking and National Director of the StartupBus. As a developer, he was on the only team of independent developers to be an official launch partner for Google Glass with the creation of Icebreaker. Jon works with amazing developers and startups every day to help them bring their ideas to fruition and spread them to the world.

Chris Hardya developer evangelist at Xamarin recently moved over to Boston, to work at the Xamarin office after being one of the first developers to develop for Xamarin.iOS over four years ago. Often found at conferences and user groups around the world, Chris also contributed to the Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android books from Wrox with Wally Mclure et al and is excited to see C# on all the mobile devices...including the Google Glass.

A couple quick reminders for those coming tonight:

    * We're giving away a GoPro, so remember to bring your business card if you want to be entered to win

    * Don't trust where Google Maps says the address is, it's at the NE corner of 41st St and 8th Ave

Looking forward to seeing you all tonight!
