Details

This Saturday NYC Python (nycpython.com (http://www.nycpython.com)) and Chartbeart (chartbeat.com (http://www.chartbeat.com)) will be hosting a mini-hackathon at their offices near Union Square.

We'll be working on building a website for the meetup group nycpython.com

We'll make use of back-end technologies written in Python (e.g., Flask, werkzeug, jinja) and try our hand using the Meetup.com and Chartbeat APIs.

All code will be posted on Github.

Chartbeat engineers will also be on hand to help out and to discuss web analytics, problems in big data, and the Chartbeat API.

Newbies are welcome: if you're interested in learning more about front- or back-end technologies, this will be a great opportunity!
