NYC Python (@NYCPythonMeetup (https://twitter.com/nycpythonmeetup)) is proud to present An Evening with Python hosted by TheLadders (@TheLadders (https://twitter.com/theladders)). This event features two speakers, Aaron Hall (@aaronchall (https://twitter.com/aaronchall)) and Lynn Root (@roguelynn (https://twitter.com/roguelynn)).

We'll also be introducing a new segment, Ministry of Silly Talks.

About the Speakers:

Aaron Hall will be presenting "Learning Python with Best Practices." Aaron is primarily a Python developer, focused on best practices. He reviews code and access control at a major bank. He wrote code to manage release, and architected his group's portal using Python and Python-driven ExtJS libraries, connecting to their big-data distributed NoSQL database system to deliver actionable multi-dimensional data with sensible aggregates and drilldowns.

Lynn Root will be presenting "How to Spy with Python." Lynn is an insomniac software engineer for Spotify, founder of the San Francisco Chapter of PyLadies, board member of the Python Software Foundation, and member of the Django Software Foundation. She likes to speak. A lot. She particularly talks on the Python community, as well as the technical work that she's done.
