I had a great time and learned a lot. Its the first time I ever gave a lightning talk but really enjoyed the experience. I looking forward to doing more.

A number of people asked me about my "Derivatives Analytics with Python" book and how to get it. James already provided the link, but here we go again:

Don't I really need to be a quant to attend?

    January 6, 2014

    • James P.

NYC Python events are open to everyone. There are no requirements for attendance. In fact, even folks without a pre-existing interest in Python, in finance, or in analytics/quantitative analysis are encouraged to join! There's always an opportunity to learn something new!

Wow! There's a lot of excitement for this event!

Unfortunately, space may be limited, so know that the RSVP limit will be enforced at the door.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
