The New York City Russian Language Meetup Group Pages

Our meet-ups have a very casual atmosphere because the main goal is to practice casual Russian conversation. The abilities of the group range the gamut--we have fluent native speakers, people who's language skills come from having lived and worked in Russia and the former Soviet Union, students and former students who studied Russian in college, individuals who have learned some Russian from family members or spouses, and still others who have a general interest in languages and are trying to educate themselves.

Our recent meet-up attendances are averaging about 20-30 people with a 50-50 ratio of repeat attendees and newcomers. Our only requirement for attending is you patronize the establishment by buying a drink and that you donate some pocket change (literally, it only needs to be some loose coins) to cover the monthly dues for meetup.

We hope to see you at a future meetup or scheduled event.

Cpacebo!
