Hello, fellow gamers!
Have you been watching Critical Role or Dimension 20 but want to get in on the dice-rolling action yourself? Are you sick and tired of buying and reading all those RPG books but never getting to the table to play? Or are you simply looking for a new play experience? Players, no matter your experience level, are encouraged to come and learn in a fun and supportive environment. We bring several different RPGs to run as "one-shot" games we can conclude in a single sitting.
Yeah, we've run Honey Heist and Blades in the Dark, Mothership, Public Access, Tales from the Loop, Delta Green, Mausritter, A Quiet Year, World Wide Wrestling, Dream Askew, Triangle Agency, Dungeons & Dragons, and those are just the most recent games! We get so many more indie and traditional RPGs to the table every month (over 50 different games in the last year or so!). Check some of the games we've played!
Our two main goals are to create an inclusive community and provide a safe space for gaming free of harmful or discriminatory conduct. Here is a link to our Code of Conduct if you'd like to learn a bit more.
If you are looking for a home to promote your games and recruit players and GMs alike, this is the place for you. Everyone is encouraged to make a suggestion in the comments of this Meetup as to what we should prepare and bring to the table.

We welcome everyone interested in role playing games, whether you’ve never picked up a set of dice before or you’ve been running games for 20 years. We work hard to intentionally create a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment to explore new games and old favorites. Bring your co-workers, friends, and partners, too! We understand that it’s hard to commit to an ongoing RPG. That’s why each of our games concludes in a single session and requires no player prep or ongoing commitment. If you are looking for longer-term games, this is a great group to connect with other players and GMs who are looking for the same. Each session, we bring several different tabletop RPGs to the table, and the options are different every Meetup! Most of them are indie and small publisher games, though occasionally you might see a game of D&D if there is demand. We've played over 70 different RPGs across more than 40 Meetups and can likely organize a table to run that obscure game you've always wanted to try! If you’re a game designer looking for playtesters, you’ll find a willing table with us. Here are some of the games we have run in the past. Please gather at 2:00 PM to check in. Game selection will begin promptly at 2:15. Pine Box Rock Shop has a zero-entry entrance. Unfortunately, the space we are in is accessed by a ramp that may not be wheelchair accessible. The bathroom is medium-sized, but has not been confirmed to be large enough for accessibility. It does have grab rails. All other accessibility information can be found here.30 attendees

BCPC is located in Major R. Owens Health and Wellness Community Center. The building requires entrance through a metal detector. Please leave your tools at home.
Accessibility Information
Brooklyn Community Pride Center is fully wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the front entrance uses a dedicated wheelchair lift which will require building staff support. Once inside, there is a standard elevator to take you to our event in the basement. The space we are in is large with plenty of room to navigate. The accessible bathroom is a large, fully enclosed room with grab bars and a dedicated sink. All other accessibility information can be found here.4 attendees
