Solar Observing Session At Green Lakes State Park

Greetings, meetup.com-ers! A little short notice as we get the schedule figured out, but we'll be at Green Lakes (near the main building as you first pull in) for some solar observing. No sunspots to speak of, but we'll have solar-safe H-alpha scopes that provide excellent views of prominences and other surface details. Several more solar sessions planned for the year, but the winter's a good time to be reminded that the Sun's still up there.
