The concept of being organized is very personal. One of the best definitions of being organized that I have heard basically states that, "Being organized means being able to find what you want, when you want, with no wasted effort." There use to be a retail establishment in Lake Forest, that when you first walked in appeared the most cluttered store you could imagine. However, if you asked for something, an employee could take you right to it and after you got use to the store you realized it really was organized, they just had a lot of stuff. On the flip side, I've seen people search and search in spotless homes for something simple like a pair of scissors, they were, at least in that area, disorganized.
If you have a spotless home, office, etc. and can find anything you need at a moments notice, you probably do not need to join this group. If you are comfortable in your clutter, and have plenty of free time to look for stuff, you may also feel little need for what we talk about. But... If you'd like some great tips and tricks, on how to get rid of unneeded stuff, organize what is needed, and make it look neat, then this group is for you.
You will meet other local people who are also interested in decluttering and organizing their homes and lives. Each monthly meeting addresses a decluttering, organizing, or cleaning topic that you can go home and start putting to use that day. The meetup also has lots of resources available to meetup members.
