Hello members
I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming event, a low cost, almost free ($10), two day user conference coming up on January 8th and 9th at the Hall of Champions in Balboa Park put on by the San Diego Drupal User Group, a non-profit, 100% volunteer effort. There will be tracks for newbies, techies and business owners. I am the volunteer in charge of promoting this event to the general public and thought you would find this event very interesting. If this was a commercial conference from IBM or Microsoft the value of the event would be in the $100s or $1,000s of dollars. Drupal is an up and coming, open-source, web development platform used to build 1,000s of web site including such high profile sites as the White House (http://www.whitehouse.gov), Popular Science Magazine (www.popsci.com), The Economist (www.economist.com) and many others.
We aim to make this event is the Comic-Con.org of the Drupal open-source community!
Feel free to visit our web site at www.sandcamp.org for more information or contact me directly using the information below.
Best regards, Doug Hoffman – Drupal Graduate and Convert of SANDCamp 2010
