If you are looking for other Attachment Parenting families in South Orange County, look no further. Whether supporters of breastfeeding and child-led weaning, cloth diapering, baby wearing, or co-sleeping, and continually enriching the all important bond between parent and child, all are welcome here.

Our group, founded in 2008, now includes 140 plus families. We have created a special community spirit amongst us as we have shared each other’s company. We meet primarily in South OC cities (Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel and Lake Forest) and nearby beaches. Our regular events include nature walks, beach dates, and meeting at local playgrounds. We also have a Waldorf playgroup that meets weekly, an online AP book club, picnics, and other special events. Suggestions and offers to host play dates at homes or guest host other events are always welcome. Members who would like to guest host should contact the assistant organizer, Patina Edwards.

We recognize that most of us will want more support along our attachment parenting journey. Our group has created strong ties with other local AP and natural parenting organizations including Attachment Parenting International, La Leche League, AP Living, DiaperFree Babies, Irvine Homeschoolers, and Holistic Moms Network. You will find many of their events promoted on our calendar.

We would appreciate a $5 contribution per year to assist with the cost of our Meetup website. The small investment is well worth the friendship and fun your family will have with our group. Please speak with one of our organizers if you have any questions.
