This meetup is focused on both education and practicing small flash lighting both in the studio and on location.

If you've been looking for ways to learn more and practice taking your camera's flash off the hot shoe  for more sophisticated and controlled lighting you've found the right group. 

Here you will find organized events offering  instruction both in the classroom and on location with lots of shooting opportunities. Just check out the photo albums from previous events. All paid events include models, instruction, rental fees, some shared equipment and lots of fun shooting time for you. There will also be social gatherings and announcements of photography-related topics and events, that may be of interest to this group.

Your feedback, ideas, comments and opinions are always welcome  - just keep things clean and civil.  If you'd like to host a "play date", email me and I'll post it to the calendar. You can also use the message board to sell and buy equipment or post other photography related information.
