Free Museum Day at San Francisco MOMA

First Tuesdays of the month are free museum days at many San Francisco museums. One of the most popular is the San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art which also has an outstanding photography collection.  Lines can often be long to get in, depending on the exhibit, so plan to get there early.  Although access to the general exhibits is free, there is usually still a mandatory timed ticket required for special exhibits, albeit at a reduced price.

Folks who RSVP can make separate arrangements to rendezvous. I will attend as my schedule allows.

My apologies to everyone. When I went into my garage to get my bike I saw that the water heater leaked and flooded part of my garage. I hope you all enjoyed the exhibits and the beautiful day.

Any opportunity to see art and photography is fine with me.

Hi everyone! I am very excited about tomorrow's free day at MOMA. I saw the Cindy Shermann exhibit in New York and it will be interesting to see how different it will look here. There may be a longish line to get in so be prepared. I plan on being there at 10am so look for the gal in the pink down vest. You can try texting me at[masked], but I have to be on wifi to receive and answer texts, which hopefully won't be a problem.

    Hi Adi,
yes, you are allowed to take pictures, but not use a flash or tripod. The skylight from the inside is just amazing.
