Patricia Ravine Off Leash Park

In the past 5 1/2 years since this meetup started, this will be the first time at Patricia Ravine Off Leash Park. We will meetup at Patricia Ravine on Saturday, January 5th @ 11:00 a.m.

Why? Because you know your dogs want another place to explore!

I would rate Patricia Ravine Off Leash park as one of the 4 best in the City, and we have been to some great Off Leash parks in Edmonton. This park is very picturesque, lots of trees and in the Summer it will be a great park for the dogs as the Ravine runs along the walking path and we eventually end up at the River. (The river is totally frozen over right this time of year, so you don't have to worry about the dogs.) This will be a 60 minute walk return. If you are coming, I suggest that you bring ice pics or some very good grip footwear. Not so much for ice but the hills can be quite slippery.

To get to this park, from the Whitemud Freeway, take the 159th Street exit. Go South on 159th Street and make your first right turn on 78th Avenue. Go a little past 163rd Street and you'll see a sign on the left hand side of the road called "Patricia Ravine". You will also notice the Off Leash sign there. There is street parking. Go down the stairs where the Off Leash sign is and you'll see me set up halfway down the stairs. Don't look at the Google map, as it never seems to be correct. Just follow my instructions. If you get lost or are going to be late, call me on my cell 780/690-5256. I'll only have it on for the walk.
