Why are pugs so great?

They are so different from beagles. It is hard to explain but I think he is so comical, affectionate and just a little slow witted which makes him even more adorable. Unfortunately he loves food as much as beagles so I know have another pig in the hosue!

What is your pugs best quality?

his sense of humor and joie de vivre

How long have you been in love with pugs?

8 months. I really thought I was a terrier/beagle person. High energy with always something working in their heads. Nigel lives for the moment and doesn't think about how to get more forbidden food (beagles) or how to kill the next rodent that comes in the yard (JRT mix). His joie de vivre is infectious and he makes me smile every day.

What is your pug's/pugs' name(s)? And when are their birthdays?

Sir Nigel Thorpe-Scebold, Lord of Puggington His birthday is approximately in November. He will be 2 this year.

Introduction

I rescue with Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland. Nigel was a 5m old puggle breeder release. He has very little beagle in him, if any! He stole my heart so I foster failed & kept him. He now terrorizes beagles with his BFF Mike the terrier.
