Join us in July at NPR for what promises to be a fun and informative evening.
Code Switch, NPR's new team covering race, culture and ethnicity, launched online and on-air in early April. The team will share some of the joys of Talking About Race On The Internet, and will talk a bit about being a hybrid digital and broadcast unit.
And, because we know you all want to see the new digs, there will be tours of the building and the opportunity to visit the NPR store for all your public media swag needs.
Thanks to NPR's Elise Hu-Stiles, John Stefany, Matt Thompson and Kinsey Wilson for making the evening possible. The schedule follows.

SCHEDULE
6:00 - 7:30 pm – Light appetizers and refreshments in the NPR lobby. NPR store open for your tote bag and t-shirt shopping needs.
6:15 - 7:15 pm – Newsroom tours at 15-minute intervals. We'll send a sign-up link to registered attendees later.
7:30 pm – Program starts in Studio 1

Volunteer to work the door, photograph or blog the event by emailing Jessica Estepa ([masked]). Volunteers receive complimentary entry even if the event sells out.
Have an idea for future ONADC topics, speakers and events? We are always looking for cool suggestions, as well as places to hold meetups. Let us know if you have thoughts about topics or if you want to host!

Great meetup. One of the best so far. The npr tours were awesome and code switch looks fantastic. Hard to believe it is only four months out of the gate. Great show Matt, Tiffany and Matt!

You have to go to "Change RSVP" below "I'm on the wait list," then say, yes, I'm coming. At least, that worked for me. It should really be more obvious than that. Silly Meetup UI designer.

I'm not sure how the wait list thing is set up, but everyone on it seems to be getting emails every time a spot opens up (and then commenting on here wondering how to claim said spot).
