Folks,

We'll head back to Medill for this month's meetup which will focus on the First Amendment. The recent Dan Snyder suit filed against The Washington City Paper was a stark reminder of its importance, whether you focus on online or print. We'll use that as a jumping off point for discussion.

Attorney Kevin Goldberg will kick us off and frame the discussion. His expertise is in First Amendment, Freedom of Information Act, and intellectual property issues, particularly copyright and trademark matters encountered by content creators and users.

Then, we will hear from The Washington City Paper staff including the Publisher, Web Editor, and Managing Editor.

Also invited but not confimed is Mr. Snyder or a representative from his PR or legal team.
