Today's society of high calorie foods and lack of exercise lifestyle is the American norm. I am sure that every one has thought to themselves "I need to be more active".
I know I did for years, and until I made the decision to get off of my butt the guiltier I felt for doing nothing.
Walking was my stepping stone to a better and healthier life. Walking led me to more activity and better eating habits. One wonderful gift from taking my first step was the loss of 27 lbs.
There are many benefits to walking, one being the release of endorphins to the brain. Endorphins help you generally feel better, give you more energy, help stress, and can give you that “second wind,“ the ability to go the extra mile or more.
If you are tired of looking in your closet and being depressed you don't fit in old clothing, let’s change that thought. Look in your closet and say to yourself, "I will fit into those clothes again, and I will do what I need to get there"
No matter what the reason for more activity in your life we can all make a change with our first step.
